“That was quick. Not long after it was announced, Lifetime has just released the first trailer for its “unauthorised” telemovie about the catty behind-the-scenes shenanigans on the 1990s TV series “Saved by the Bell”.
“The Unauthorized Saved by the Bell Story,” based on Dustin Diamond’s “Behind the Bell” book, shows the tensions between the six unknown young actors placed under intense scrutiny as they try to maintain the squeaky clean image of their popular characters both on and off-screen.
The cast includes Dylan Everett as Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Alyssa Lynch as Tiffani-Amber Thiessen, Tiera Skovbye as Elizabeth Berkley, Julian Works as Mario Lopez, Taylor Russell McKenzie as Lark Voorhies, and Sam Kindseth as Dustin Diamond.
