ABOUT A3C Action
A3C Action seeks creative projects that address systemic social justice challenges and opportunities for civic engagement

A3C is proud to announce a partnership today with Atlanta’s Center for Civic Innovation (CCI) called A3C Action that aims to find, support, and invest in new, innovative ideas that use art, music & hip-hop culture as a vehicle to advance social justice and civic engagement in underserved communities. The two organizations will select five ideas from around the country, and those ideas will be pitched at the 11th annual A3C Festival & Conference in Atlanta from October 7-11.

A3C Action has established a fund to invest in the most impressive ideas submitted. The initial funding will come from a community driven fundraiser on Indiegogo, and A3C has committed to a $10,000 match. Support the A3C Action fund here: http://igg.me/at/a3c-action.

A3C Action seeks creative projects that address systemic social justice challenges and opportunities for civic engagement. This includes, but is not limited to, ideas that work to empower citizens, increase access to essential rights like a great education or fair treatment in the criminal justice system, and address issues of economic opportunity, income inequality and ownership. All projects must include use of art, music, and/or hip hop culture as a driver. A3C Action aims to increase new, diverse audiences of creatives and artists at the public problem solving table.

The first round of Applications are due by September 3, 2015.
